Locogringo, the thing about the Ayatollah is that liberals think diplomacy will neuter his fiery rhetoric. You can see it in their "defense" of Obama's diplomacy. They accuse the Republicans of being so belligerent, they empower the Iranian hard-liners like the Ayatollah. What these liberals don't understand is that Obama isn't empowering the so-called "moderates" in Iran at all. Instead, he's telling the hard-liners that their persistence has paid off, and that America is withdrawing from the Middle East just like they wanted all along. Can't wait to see the result of Obama's peacemaking efforts. Oh wait, we already have. Just look at the Arab Spring, for instance. What a foreign policy "achievement" that was. Tenchusatsu
