Even in California the rice farmers are being offered twice the money for their water allotments as they would get for the finished crop at market. Sell the water, grow nothing and get twice the money. When this whole Arizona thing started we didn't call it Elmer's sandbox for nothing..... I hope one day we get some kind of good news on Schaft Creek so I can get the hell out of here and hope I never hear the words Copper Fox again.

Here's some indication of how dry it is. Any proposed copper projects will have to address this issue. I haven't read the PFS for the Gunnison deposit and don't know if it's within scope for the Van Dyke PEA. A full El Nino is predicted this year which apparently could bring torrential rains to California and other areas. Obviously they could use it:
