Who is calling the shots today? Would that be the Christians, the Jews, the Atheists, Islamists? Fundamentalist Christians have been pretty successful in implementing their agenda. Especially on the state level. The line between church and state has been consistently blurred for the past few decades. The recent attempts to allow them to discriminate in the name of "freedom of religion" is just the most recent. I've spent half my life living in small towns. Never saw one where the "shots were called" by any religion. Ever lived in a dry one? Or one where things like the Playboy Channel was banned from the local cable by city ordinance? Talk about being full of it...
