When fewer shares of a company are being shorted....it can be 'generally' read as good for the stock.

See if nobody was shorting the thing we'd be in a good position, wouldn't we? If the amount of shares has dropped to 1/2 Million from 3 that can be read as good? After all I'd have to question anybody shorting a $1.50 Stock....comming down from 40+?

So this theory of price fixing that has been going on in here by the convertable people doesn't hold much water.....It looks to me that the shorts have made their money on this.....and there's no interest....large interest to short this thing from here........what are you going to try go get by shorting, a quarter? Intel has lost nearly 31% since this asian mess hit.......there was $31 in that short.

One of the things I was thinking about........here and I know we have someone from Quarterdec watching this thread.

So I'll pass it on and whatever happens happens.

The Internet Media Companies Yahoo!, Excite, Lycos & Seek are all putting together deals for Travel, Books, Finances ect...ect..ect.

Now you have a company like Quarterdeck....which has a service Tune-up & Products.........Cleansweep, Fix it......(you know'm I don't)

Problem is with an on-line service like tune-up needs to get exposure....hits........and users. Last count the 4 Above Companies have about 40 Million Unique Users.....and those users all have computers, right? Most of them are specializing in 'channels' or focused areas of usage....right? Investing, Travel, Computer & Software, ect..ect..ect.

So why doesn't this company Quarterdeck, try something totally off the wall.......and at the same time.....coupe...Symantac, Cybermedia...and whoever else their competitors are and Sponsor a 'TuneUp Garage', or channel, with one of the major 4 or all 4.

Give users some advice....tips.....like Tune-Up does and split the revenue on subscriptions & usage as royalties with the online service.Along with the advertising that would come in from banners. I mean they are selling books......why not have a prefered on-line maintaince facility.....to keep those millions of computers up to date?

Whatever........................
