Thanks Gary, I knew I saw that posted here. S&P prints "Outlook" once a week (dated on each Wednesday?), because I always stop by the library and read it. This expanded issue I mentioned has a unique cover, has the 5 star's divided into categories, and has a brief remark about each. I didn't see IOM listed. I can't imagine they raised it and immediately lowered it - they've had it at 4 stars for as long as I've read Outlook. Are you a subscriber? I would think you would have this 12/17 issue if you are. I may be going back to the library tonight - I need some positive reinforcement after today. Surely someone here has this 12/17 report?

From the Stocks section of tomorrows Wall Street Urinal:
[text about various stocks]....Iomega declined 2 1/2 to 24, a loss of 9.4% in the session. The disk-drive
maker said it would postpone the release date of its new Jaz drive until
next quarter. Analysts, however, said they didn't expect earnings to suffer
because of the decision.[more stuff about other stocks.]

Seems to me that even though dow jones and cohorts hate iomega even they think this is over reaction to a non-event. God help us.

Gary, I'm confused. What do you make of this (S&P) inconsistency? :

Maverick,

There is no mention of IOM in the Dec. 17th issue of The Outlook.
