Tim, if I knew better I'd be cruising the world also. I agree that each instance or trade presents its own case for selling. Stock holding vs options vs writing covered positions vs trading futures. What gets me when I'm not in a trade and can look at it with some distance, is that exiting a position is so cheap.. normally less than forty dollars to get out, while holding onto even an eighth point loss can cost hundreds and much more with options.

I'd like to hear more exit, more selling thoughts, strategies for getting out of a trade... A. that's made money B. that's under water, when do you let it go? down 25%, down 50%, if its down 80% do you just say screw it and let it ride?
