John and all:
I received this email from Porta Rico.
Not sure what to think, but I'll pass it along.
My guess is that MOVA is the mfg. for Viracept.

M0VA PHARMACEUTICAL MFG. VIRACEPT IN P.R. FOR AGPH.

I LIVE IN SAN JUAN P.R. !!!
I HAVE SOME INFO. OF INTEREST TO YOU GUYS THAT IS NOT AVAILABLE TO YOU SINCE, FIRST YOU DONT LIVE HERE. SECOND, DONT KNOW SOME PEOPLE IN THE PHARMACEUTICAL INDUSTRY IN P.R. .

1) MOVA JUST FINISHED PURCHASING A NEW PRODUCTION LINE THAT WILL INCEARSE PRODUCTION ABOUT 250%.

2) 65,000 PATIENTS WITH MONTLY ORDERS.

3) SOME PROBLEMS IN THE PRODUCTION LINE PRODUCED SOME BACKORDERS IN THE PAST MONTH.

4) RECORD SALES WILL BE POSTED IN THE JANUARY REPORT

Backorders don't sound real good if someone is depending on this stuff. Planning to increase production 250% sounds pretty good.
65,000 patients? Does this sound right?
Let me know if anyone can verify this info.

Bill

- Retail (IMS) #s only, accounts for less than 2/3 of all sales.
-PW: "With appropriate adjustments on monthly data as recommended by IMS (see table), Viracept total scrips continues to demonstrate consistent growth month to month. Viracept total scrips increased 8.9% in the month of November relative to the month of October."
