Earlie, maybe they start a new list "The Goldman Sachs Super-Ultimate Buy It Now 'Cause We're Goldman Damnit (spit) Priority List" <g>

I'm assuming somewhere out there is a Goldman client (or two) who is pretty smart, who read that report, and reacted appropriately:

"KISS IT"

The Accompora call took some of the sting out of it. If it trades down today, GS basically shot its [mouth off] and is looking at 8 sessions into the end of the calendar year w/ the first payment on the convertibles due 1/1 (will double-check that, but I think it's right). If the puts take on the asset short and we get some bounce on that, assuming it gets hot again Mon-Tues, maybe they look a little better, but I'd be surprised if it didn't backfire by 12/31.

IMHO, it's just a wildly pre-mature call relative to MU itself, tech volatility, and general market volatility.

Good trading,

Tom
