Obama, Netanyahu mark Holocaust Remembrance Day in different ways

.........................................................................................
The Hill ^ | 2015-04-16 | Jordan Fabian

Netanyahu compared today’s western leaders to those in the 1930s who negotiated with Nazi leader Adolf Hitler.

Netanyahu made the comments during a ceremony marking Holocaust Remembrance Day on Wednesday.

Netanyahu said that the U.S. and its allies were rushing into a dangerous pact with Iran. . Their haste, he added, mirrored mistakes Europe made when dealing with Nazi Germany during the late 1930s and early 1940s.

“Ahead of World War II, the world attempted to appease the Nazis,” he said. “They wanted quiet at any price, and the terrible price did come.

Netanyahu added that the West had appeared “comatose” and “gripped by delusion” during its negotiations with Tehran in Lausanne, Switzerland over the last 18 months.

Their actions there recalled similar mistakes world powers made negotiating with Hitler, he added.

“The democratic states made a terrible mistake,” Netanyahu said of the Nazi era, “and they’re making a terrible mistake now.”

Ted,
Yeah, Ten, tell yourself that just like finding bin Laden and executing him was impossible..........because he was hidden away in the mts of Afghanistan.
If it were up to Carter, he would have surrounded the compound where bin Laden was hiding and asked him nicely, "Please come out and show us how peaceful a Muslim like you can be."

By the way, how come the Great Slayer of Bin Laden hasn't done a damned thing about Boko Haram yet, except have Michelle hold up a hashtag sign?

And how come the Great Slayer of Bin Laden hasn't eliminated ISIS yet?

The guy is so focused on making a deal with Iran, ANY deal, because he's convinced that the Carter doctrine works, not because he wants to build upon his victory over Bin Laden.
