High speed rail built and subsidized forever by the government is a liberal idea. The TX rail idea is privately financed so there's no conservative opposition.

As for tejek and bentway wanting to see studies supporting the concept ... I figure the developers have those or they wouldn't be able to get private money.

Because high speed rail is a liberal issue As such, it is to be opposed at all costs.

It comes from reacting to things instead of thinking about what to support, what to ignore and what to oppose.

I think it is that simple............and very stupid and troubling.

It will be interesting to see if this sentiment prevails.

Posted by Jim Hoft on Thursday, April 16, 2015, 6:35 AM

Human shield protesters surround the Bushehr nuclear facility in Iran during an earlier demonstration. Popular Egyptian television personality Tawfik Okasha told Israel recently to “trust in God” and bomb Iran.

Okasha said Israel should bomb the Bushehr nuclear facility.
Christian Headlines reported, via Free Republic:

Influential Egyptian TV personality Tawfik Okasha has reportedly told Israel to bomb Iran. Addressing Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as a “dear friend,” Okasha said that Israel should bomb the Bushehr Nuclear Reactor, Breaking Christian News reports.

“Put your trust in God and bomb it. We are with you and if you need fuel for the jets, we will give it to you,” Okasha said.

Netanyahu said Okasha’s words are proof Iran cannot be trusted.

“In the last few days, Iran has shown again why it can’t be trusted,” Netanyahu said.

According to Breaking Christian News, the Israeli Prime Minister does not approve of the nuclear deal.
