I know what I said. Ok, I realize that you have pretty weak reasoning skills. So I will try to explain things to you with simple words. When someone says "support of the middle class" that doesn't mean just some of them. It takes something close to a majority. The larger the better. And it needs to be across the various categories, which they appear to have. That is what happened when the Shah was driven out. And that is what is needed to topple the ayatollahs. They aren't there yet. That is what that article you posted and apparently didn't understand, said too. Now it was written to counter the idea that the CIA or some other group was behind the protests. So it was emphasizing that it couldn't have been. But it also acknowledged that it just didn't have enough support of the middle class to be successful. Although there was some representation, which was different from the earlier protests where it was mainly the children of the middle and upper classes.
