You may have missed it, but Angelina Jolie recently had a double mastectomy for just having a family history of breast cancer and the gene that causes this predisposition, and many women in the same circumstance followed her example. Several doctors applauded her courage in doing this.

Actually, it was shown that lumpectomy survival wasn't worse than radical surgery.



Lumpectomy as good as mastectomy ...
