It was, early on.

But you have to understand that in the case of breast cancer, the "scientists" locked themselves into the mode of radical surgery on a false belief. And as a result, the practice was carried on for years, decades, after it should have been clear it was ineffective.

It is the same sort of problem police departments are accused of when they zero in on the wrong perpetrator early on and then overlook other suspects who are culpable. A lot of people call it "tunnel vision." That's what is going on with climate science right now.

Scientists are not looking at the facts because they're far too busy looking at the perpetrator they want so badly for it to be. As a result, sensible science is likely being overlooked in favor of science that fulfills the financial objective. This is how we do it when we think "inside the box."

It is closed-mindedness at its worst.
