OK Steve,
First the PC market growth is slowing. Units may grow 10-15%,down from 15-20%, but ASP's are droping by 10% because of subZero.
That equals 5% growth in revenues.
Now We all know that Asia is 6-12% of revs for these companies.
Does anyone know that Asia accounts for 40-50% of growth ?
Now that 40% of growth is going to become a contraction.
DELL 6% of sales in AP. that may drop to 3-4% of sales instead of growing to 8-9% of sales.
Combine that with the ASP problem that Dell denies it has and you have a very different situation from what you say.

Does that help explain ?

Jim
