Meta..Rather than get lost in the weeds that will surely be blooming, I like to keep it simple. Some Democrats self identify as "liberals". I don't know what that means. ..so I don't follow that track. I think I am simply progressive. I visualize civilization as an arc. I'd like to see us move in a positive direction on that arc. Near as I can tell, there is no position being espoused by the GOP that would advance civilization on any front, or in any fashion in the slightest. But I'll consider bids... I get caught up and confused with the labels---liberal, progressive, Democrat.....I think it's more helpful to describe as you did what you envision. But, it's not amenable to sound-bytes. Nice word-smithing, btw, to get your point across.
