"Any reasonable person would know that" Maybe you should watch what the parents had to say. Any reasonable person would know that, if his child is saying, "God, why did you put me in the wrong body?" and is trying to injure him/her self because of it (mother didn't go into details, beyond "with scissors" ( I was thinking boy-> girl cuz I missed the beginning, and feared the worse), something is very wrong
