This issue only shows that the nation is deeply divided on a subject that roughly half of the nation views as a common-sense issue. As always, those with a left-thinking bias are deeply concerned about the rights of criminals, including those who run from the police. The other half sees the issue of criminals getting hurt for what it is -- a non-issue. When I hear that a criminal was hurt or killed while interacting with the police, that's all I need to know. I don't need to know the circumstances, etc. I don't want there to be an investigation. I don't want the police to get into trouble. I think that should be the end of it. Criminals are already taking their lives into their own hands by choosing to disobey the law. Whatever happens to them, happens to them. Why should anyone care about the well-being or welfare of a criminal? Normal people learned that lesson as small children. When one is doing something that he shouldn't be doing and gets hurt, it's his own fault. My mother and father taught me that lesson a small boy, and probably most normal people learned the same valuable lesson from their parents. Another issue that leftists hold starkly different and illogical views on is global warming. Roughly half of the nation is up in arms over global warming, yet they still use fossil fuels to commute to work, cool and heat their homes, and do just about everything else in life that requires energy. Clearly, they don't see their inane hypocrisy. It's laughable when $hitstain, Algore or Prince Charles arrive in town on a huge jumbo jet that runs on fossil fuels, and proceed to admonish the people for using fossil fuels, and then jet back off to their lives of luxury and leisure somewhere else, where they and their large staffs consume huge amounts of fossil fuels. If it's really such a critical issue, why don't they lead by example? If leftists are going to talk the talk, they need to walk the walk and live by example. Otherwise, their arguments are meaningless. They should all shut their mouths, too, because talking also contributes to global warming, according to their silly arguments.

It's simple. To get you INTO custody, it is proper to stop someone. By whatever means necessary. Once you are in the physical control of the police, they no longer have the ability to use deadly force. If the suspect gets out of the control of the police, back to deadly force. POLICE CAN NOT PICK YOU UP AND KILL YOU. They might pull off killing you while attempting an arrest, but once the police have physical control, deadly force needs to end. Is this Chile or something? Arrest or execution? I don't think it's that cut and dried. If they are allowed to kill you after arresting you, there is zero reason to be polite about it. Police abuse of the public is the reason for the second amendment. There is no reason to surrender, if they're going to kill you anyway. In this case it is possible that they mistook a seizure for an attempt to fight.
