NYT reported at 9:45 pm that morning session of NIKKEI ended down 923 points. Concern over weak U.S. markets and another large bankrupcy
of a large Japanese foodstuf company causing the concern. (I surmise that the Korean election results didn't help). An interesting article
about the new Korean (socialist ?) president appears in the NYT.
