Interesting .. if it should be illegal for parents to put children in conversion therapy* then it should also be illegal for parents to decide to put them on hormone blockers and any other actions to change the sex they were born.

* I would actually be in favor of that. Both conversion therapy and hormones and puberty blockers and anything else like that, in fact.

I'd agree with you, if:

1) You changed the age to 18, not 21.

2) You also made it illegal for parents to try and change the sex of their children.

I remember the story of one couple who were convinced that their 5-year-old son "self-identified" as a female and wanted to perform a sex change operation on the kid.

That's just wrong on so many levels.
