yeah, I think I see your point...... with a tie ratio of ~8-10 disks per drive and a profit margin north of 80% on the disks, and with IOM being the clear leader in the rapidly expanding removable storage sector ----- well, perhaps I really don't see your point

Andrew -

You apparently don't understand either Iomega's business model or the meanings of the terms "commodity" and "profit margin". Zip drives are neither a commodity nor low profit.

The smart money moves around, but it always keeps coming back to strong earnings growth.
