Yeah, but you can manage YOUR use of it!

The so called "deep breath" response is nothing more than making sure you are trading according to your system rather than emotions.

For example:

AOL is in a strong uptrend and trading above it's 17 WMA, slightly below it's 144 TSMA and 30% above 200 SMA averages. Couldn't ask for a stronger stock at this point. So amid all the turmoil and anguish today, those BUYING AOL will be rewarded and those selling will be getting out of a fine stock!

Now listening to some of the posts here on the BK, you would think the end of the world is coming and many have assembled a list of reasons why it is coming. So the deep breath comes not only between trades but in the middle of an emotionally charged market situation where everyone believes the worst is about to happen.
