Given the futures and the foreign markets, it's hard to see how the market will go "200 points straight up". As I said about 8:30 last night, looks to me like a 100 point down and then stagnation--though at some point the US market will shift into plain panic, and that could happen any time--for reasons that you give in your last setence, among others.
