If I remember correctly, Tonto once shorted a small amount of Solv-Ex and that was posted over on the GIFS thread. People jumped to a lot of conclusions there. Now Tonto is a god on that thread.

Mork's position, as you may recall, was not the result of a short. It was a sale not long, and a failure to deliver certificates..

If you eventually sell your RMIL, and have your broker sell it today and deliver the certs tomorrow, that is a sale not long (in your account).

Mork claims Zapara failed to deliver certificates against Mork's sale, as promised.

RBM, GIFS management and Gayle Essary of StreetLevel both promoted that I was a shorter of the GIFS stock, plus additional intriguing
illegal involvements with the company. (jewel thief, corporate spy...)

This was a diversionary tactic by them to change the focus of the S.I. board, and the attention of the shareholders. The answer to your question is no, I never shorted GIFS. I was a shareholder who through continual diligence learned early on that GIFS was a scam run by a felon who's personal history, along with the corporation's own releases, were materially untrue.
