Re: Trinity Industries Inc. (TRN)

My basic premise (which could be wrong) was/is that the suit has little to no merit and the total liability is small (and covered by insurance if there was no fraud). I started a 1/3 position seeing this as a possible buying opportunity while the rest of the market views this as a reason to sell.

I have owned the company in the past and have this one in my Graham No. valuation watch list. My original Buy target price was $25.00/share, I thought based on their earnings reports that the current price was a bargain selling at 6.5 forward PE.

My Graham Number Calculator shows this to be selling at a 50.89% discount to it's fair value.

I will continue to monitor and may add if/when it sells off to $25.00/share. I would like to see a higher dividend.
