This Business Week chart seems to indicate that Y2K spending in 2001 will be higher than it will be by the end of '98: businessweek.com

Other studies I've read also indicate that Y2K related jobs will continue for quite a while after 2000. If this turns out to be true, which I admit does seem counter-intuitive, I suppose we should all also invest in International Paper and Bic Pen (gg).
