Does Fidelity use Java for their trading platform? That would certainly slow things down on an older Mac, but I doubt Fidelity is goofy enough to do such a thing to their current users.

I use Scottrade myself and have been pretty happy with it. Far better than E*Trade ever was for me, that's for sure.

What is it about Fidelity that does not work on an old Mac? Is it Active Trader Pro?
