Bob .... closers have never been on my pickem list for nearly any kind of race matter of fact, the only one I can even recall was SilkySullivan (didn't get to see him run as I'm not quite that old .. lol) I love early speed .... but have a slight affinity for a closeby stalker .. especially in Stakes .. but closers just gonna beat me every time they win surely don't see a closer having much of a chance this year in the Derby ..... my opinion is (not that you asked for it) is that any horse on the board at the six pole is gonna finish out of it (unless 112 or slower has the lead) any horse farther back than seven lgns at the six pole ain't got time to get there
