The wolf's at the door and the bear's at the window. Wish I had more substantive stuff to contribute to the thread but for now I'll just have to stick to banter. I do know that I like this stock and think that cpq will be one of the companies that survives in the next couple of years when maybe a lot of techs will collapse and disappear altogether.

Stephen, Well here my two cents worth. If it even worth two cents. The lowest compaq could go is 30.00 back in Juanuary. So I feel from now until January you have people who bought from january to november that is showing a profit and now they are getting out with that profit and you have your institutions that showing a profit and they will want to bail out with a profit too. And you have your idiots like me who bought above the price it's selling now, who have had big gains and they are knocking down their short term gain buy selling this now and hopfully buy it back in January. Me I do not show a gain for the year so I will keep my dog until January when though three come back to the market to bail out stupid me I hope. (G)

Does this makes sense to all of you conpaq heads. I am bleeding badly here.

<D. How far south is this stock gonna dribble??? We're already about 33% off the
high of 2 months ago. I get the feeling we're gonna get real familiar with the high 40s
soon. No denial here, we're caught between the wall and the man with the machine
gun. S.>

You're kidding. This is CPQ you are talking about. Any facts to support that machine gun theory of yours??

Just wondering.
