Staff,

Things do seem to go our way:

GLOBEX PRICES AS OF 12/19/97 03:43
S&P 500 MAR98 954.00 -1090

Closed half my NDX put position, and left half for expiration this am.
Have also small OEX put position, and a few CSCO Jan puts.

We're on a 3 of 3 of 1 down on the Naz and many Naz stocks.
All have 5 EMA below 21 EMA (sell territory).
MSFT have the gap waitng to be filled at 100.
So far Dow stocks were not that affected - T, GE, PG reached new highs this week, and while NDX has dropped 18% from the top,
the SPX is only 3% from its high reaced only last week.
The dominos are falling. First it was the SOX, now the NDX.
Next are GE, PG and KO. Timing is everything.
Will they wait for Jan ?

Hi Staff,

Thanks for your kind comment. Actually, I did close out almost all positions on yesterday's close, the weakness made it obvious that the recent lows will be violated and last night I was out party hopping so I didn't post. I'm not much of a drinker, but I ate like a pig. (-...-)

I'm keeping a few sleepers I'm playing with to keep the game interesting. If we don't get a reversal this afternoon, we'll likely test the October lows in the DOW and 1440 in the NAZ. But, first let's see if 7700-7750 holds it.

On currencies, I've noticed the very same phenomenon over the years. Intervention always seems to have the opposite effect, and that phenomenon is reliable enough to trade on.

I'll be boating most of today, so I'll miss the action. Have fun for me, willya?

All the best.
