Chalks, my worry is not the sales (which I would presume could be 50% or more in export), my worry is the assets side of the balance sheet, mostly denominated in Wons, while the liability side is mostly denominate (or I should say linked to) the dollar. Because Samsung was highly leveraged to start with, the devaluation will cause the leverage to be even greater. Furthermore, while Samsung is an export engine, a lot of the export is to neighboring weak economies, while Mexico exported its way out to strong economies. The fact that Japan announced an anemic tax reduction indicates to me that Japan is unwilling tyo act as a sink for export from its neighbors in the rim.
