This is why I think we missed the boat on Freedom of Speech. Freedom of Speech is a subcomponent of Freedom of Conscience. No one should be compelled to participate in something that violates their conscience which is a precursor to freedoms of thought, speech, religion, and personal belief. Having such freedom does not give anyone the right to establish laws for others or stifle others in any way but it should give one the right to refuse to participate.
