Yesterday, in "TheStreet.com" James Cramer discussed possible side effects of Avakine. He said that 5 patients out of 63 suffered seious side effects vs no sidefeects in the placebo group of 31 patients.

He also stated that the FDA hasn't seen this data yet. He says that the company says there are no significant differences in the results, but short sellers are saying this is potentially very damaging.

He quotes Rachel Leheny, of Hambrecht & Quist as saying "The best indication we'll have [that Avakine is safe] is if the FDA gives it accelerated review."

Hopefully that will happen (accelerated review). Anyone else have anything on this subject?
