Maybe Shive may want them for their technology but certainly not for their customer base. Because they don't have that many customers left??!! I think I might jump in at the $1'ish level...

Being in the remote access market, some big company may consider buying them out.
It is getting risky investing in this stock, but who knows it just might happen (wishful
thinking from my part). Do you think there is a potential?


Jay,
Sorry to be so slow in getting back to you. This is the first time that I have check in with SI since mid December. I do not know what to think about Proteon. The one thing that I do know is that I will never buy shares in a company that is losing money. There are just too many that are making money to worry about the likes of Proteon.

It seems like the stock is trying to make a base at $1.25 , the question is the base for a movement upward or downward? Lets hope that 1998 will be better than 1997. It could not be worse.
