A little know secret about to be revealed...... this 9 cent rate is NOT what it seems. 1) They bill in full minute increments, and the vast majority of companies are now offering 6 second billing. Statistically this adds approximately 28% to the per minute rate (realize a 2 minute and 6 second call would be billed for 3 full minutes). This makes them effectively higher than companies that are offering 10.9 with 6 second billing. 2) Also, and more importantly - the 9 cent rate is for Interstate calling only (From your home state to the other 49 states). Your in-state calling could be much more expensive, and again has one minute rounding. As always, don't believe this just because I post it, (though FWIW I have a communications consulting company and spend my waking hours reviewing this type of program for my clients) - go to their FAQ page, or - e-mail me and i'll give you more info, as I do not intend to make this a commercial. All of that being said - they still may get a big response because they are not going to publicize those points. However, their competitors will, and the companies who are really offering lower pricing will make it clear.
