Big news from the bull camp: Ralph Acampora (sp), chief Market Strategist and the consumate bull revised his prediction that the dow would hit 10,000 in 1998. It's now 1999. He indicates that the range for the DOW is from in 1998 6000 to 8600 (think of where we are now). The second half of 1998, he says, will be the worst part of the year (when all the earning really tank).

He also thinks that the DOW stocks could be off as much as 20% next year. Ouch for the S&P. Earnings will be no better than this year.

Barton Biggs changed his mega-bullish view to something in line with Ralph.

It's getting scary.
