Good morning Frank,

I am sorry to hear that things don't look good. Maybe Intel will do well anyway. Very often when the rest of the market does great or terrible, Intel does just the opposite. We can at least hope for the best.

I hope that you will have a great day today. Go INTEL

Warm regards,
Margaret

Good Morning Frank,

The latest massive bankrupcy in Japan has caused a great deal of
concern in Europrean finnacncial circles. I shall not be suprised to see Sony, Hitachi, and Sumitumo Steel to follow suit and decalre bankrucpy.

Two weeks Mr. Hashimoto addressing the Asian heads of States, was bragging that Japan's problem is not same as Korea, that Japan
is a creditor nation and not a debitor!! Well, either the Nippon Inc.
faces the crisis and takes necessary measures,or else IMF has to bail
them out with one of the most massive loan packages in the history.

Over the years, Japanese banks have made so many bad loans that sooner or later we may have a Japanese melt down which could drastically effect the grouth of rest of the Asia and the developed world(United States and Western Europe!) We have seen how Japnese corporations in the past, prospeous one day, and bankrupt the next day, with the Chairman of the Board who cries in front of the CNN and appologizes for the bankrupcy!!
This is to prove that the way Japan Inc. made buisness in the past has
to change. These guys are used to entering in any market like a gangs! Out of 10 corporations, 9 looses money and the 10th make a few dollar, but the destroy the competition and eventually no-one makes any money! Koreans copied Japnese method and created Shaboel, which also has casued their present problem!!

By the way in Korea we have KIA motor which may default and close thier doors. The Seoul govenment may defualt by the end of the Jan. 1998 if they don't take their medicine as prescibed by the IMF. It took a prsonal call from president Clinton to Korean president last night to convince him to accept the aid package by IMF without any further haggling!! Frank, this thing is much more serious than the Mexican affair a few days ago, and I am affraid cosing our eyes and hoping that it goes away will not work.

Kind regards,

Yaacov
