Great news from the Intl markets! The Karachi 100 is positive
tonight. Is it important? Is any of this? Isn't the issue
that these markets are already (anybody enjoy Shogun) closed to
the the imperilistic western powers? A big joke, in very difficult
times!!! I wish you all well, paticularly Hareld!!!

And to all a Good Night!!!

Berney; RE:" Maslow Level 4 "

gawd, that brings back some memories from w-a-y back {grin} Maslow's "Hierarchy of Needs". Completely off-topic, but have you ever read any of Lewis Mumford's works; eg., Technics and Civilization or The Culture of Cities ? More obscure, but a fascinating British author named Stafford Beer (who writes about organizations in the context of cybernetics and operations research); eg., Decision and Control or The Brain of the Firm.

You took me back to my M.B.A. daze, Berney! Now thinking about J.W. Forrester's Industrial Dynamics. I was completely seduced by Mathematical Programming - dropped my graduate studies of Stochastic Processes and devoted my career to it. Met Dantzig once at Stanford; I was talking gibberish like an awkward teenager meeting a pretty girl at a dance or something.

Hell, I still talk gibberish (^_^)

Man that takes me back - Maslow! - you crack me up, DUDE !!!
