Two journalists with the French satirical Charlie Hebdo magazine agreed that the January terror attack on their offices in Paris is not in any way comparable to the attack on a Muhammad cartoon drawing contest Sunday in Garland, Texas.

“To be honest, I can imagine the kind of comparison you can make between the Charlie Hebdo attack of January 7 and this event, but there is nothing to do — there is no comparison, absolutely no comparison,” film critic Jean-Baptiste Thoret told PBS’ Charlie Rose in a clip of a longer interview set to air Tuesday, Mediaite reported.

Mr. Thoret said the contest in Texas was part of an “anti-Islamic movement” in the U.S. and said Charlie Hebdo makes a habit of criticizing all religions, not Islam “in particular.”
