<< Although I don't disagree, Jimmy Rogers has been predicting a downturn for as long as I can remember. >> While Jimmy Rogers has been saying that we were due for a downturn he has been net long the whole time he was saying this. The last time I heard him comment (a few weeks ago) he said he had reduced his US exposure significantly. He also is short the UK and Mexico and was shorting Hong Kong long before you and I were hearing about it's problems. I don't think it's in any way fair to say that he has been wrong.
