Aside, why do you expect such a high-volume day today? Also because of options
expirations?

Thomas,

First off, thank you for you insight on Korea's new regiem.

I expect a very volitile day with extremely high volume. The open interest in a variety of securities is huge. The fear is rampant. Foreign money will be coming here. Domestic money will be going to the sidelines. Lots of dissappointing earnings in various industry groups mostly attributed to Asia.

My guess on volume is 800 million shares NYSE and 900 million on NASDQ. I have no idea of the pricing, however. The above volume will only hold true if the market does not shut down due to trading curbs.
