Hi Staff,

Office partys are always great fun. It's good for workplace morale, well worth the cost. We had a great time today, caviar, lobster medallions on puff pastry. Champagne and Tahitian dancers. What a time.

Look at this come back, 'only' 90 points down and the NAZ was up. A bottoming action if I ever saw one. The 7750 level held and the intraday low was stopped at 7550. A lower inside day on Monday, and I will buy in to this next move up. But now I have to figure out how to let out my pants about an inch. Oh, boy.

Hi Staff - To All - Must Read Barron's Article: Asia

International Economist, David Hale of Zurick Insurance has just returned
from a swing through Asia....and he has found the situation very serious.
Quote: page 22 (Jonathan Laing
"....What's going on in Asia is nothing short of a contagion of awesome,
profound effect," he insisted. "The speed and the ferocity of the crisis
as it cascaded through Asia and beyond is mind boggling. It is a hit Asian
economies like a heart attack, utterly incapacitating countries otherwise
endowed with stronge physical constitutions....."
.
The Asian crisis has also shaken Hale's faith in the benignity of today's
freed-up global financial system....and the posible success of IMF's program.
.
Anyway, it is well worth the read, as well as a couple of other articles
