Sid, If the Internal combustion engine is 99% !! cleaner than pre 1960 cars we are dealing with a very small margin. The advantage to the hybrid would have to fall in the last 1%. If you gain a little at the start thru 25 MPH maybe your overall advantage goes up to 99.x %. Would it be worth it to make a significant move towards a hybrid for such a small improvement?
