Any person would be MUCH better off representing themselves in a lawsuit than having some of the clucks posing as attorneys on this board. The shysters here would screw up a guilty plea.

Yeah, I guess I've just never been involved in buying or selling in area where property is really expensive. But in SFO [proper] I understand all of it is expensive. That probably is a different thing where it is worthwhile.

OTOH, 6% of a very expensive property is a lot of dough. I think we'll rapidly see that drop to 3%. It never made sense to me that the listing agent gets paid half because they honestly don't do shit in most cases. I think the Internet based services will kill the 6% commission once and for all.
