Will do! I measured the stalks today, and 4-5 of them will be ready to harvest Saturday. That's when I'll make the pie. I'm thinking I'll pick all Summer and freeze it for use later next Fall and Winter.

Right... be sure to get the redish parts of the stalks because the white parts have some in them.

There is enough oxcalic acid in the leaves to kill you.
Wow!! I always had heard not to eat the leaves because they would make you sick, but I had no idea that they were that dangerous.

Thankfully, I never much liked Rhubarb. My parents enjoyed it and grew a patch of it in the garden..
