Btw, I refuse to get caught up in "balls" puns and innuendos...;-) Whoever has not ever sinned should throw the first stone. This is bullshit as far as I'm concerned. They were the best team in the league. Period. They beat my QB.........beat all the other QB's to earn the right to hoist that trophy. Even if they pushed the boundary in this aspect, it did not give them the advantage and hence, right to play and win the Superbowl. IMO. They earned it. I mean, was it cheating to pass the ball to Edelman to make a TD pass? Was it cheating to use a rarely used rule to confuse the Ravens? BB(who I've always loved hating because he created much hearbreak for me and my QB) is the most talented, genius-like strategerian that this era/ever? has known. Secondly--as I read more this morning---as non-Patriots homer----I am very more likely than not , to surmise that this was indeed a sting. Complaints re: possible deflations, being sent to the NFL several games into the season. Why didn't the NFL give a call to BB, et. al. and tell 'em: "this is what we're hearing, if true, stop it, we're going to be monitoring closely." Why is not highlighted from the report that 3/4 Colts footballs were underinflated? yourteamcheats.com Although the Wells investigation was hired by the NFL to find dirt about the Patriots, it actually unwittingly uncovered the Colts own ball deflation cheating. At halftime AND at the end of the game, four Colts' footballs were tested and in both cases 3 out of the 4 (p69 & p73 of the huge Wells PDF) footballs were found to be underinflated below the legal 12.5 PSI minimum on at least one official's gauge. The above website is actually a good one for every self-righteous fan/"journalist" to take a look at...
