Yohimbe is available at health food stores and also in a prescription
form. I tried several different brands and found the only effect was
nightly erections.

Myron--

Five years ago I believe that there were *no* peer-reviewed
studies in "reputable" U.S. journals. However, since then,
I've seen one and there may be others. Unfortunately,
I seem to have misplaced the article and can't remember
the name of the journal. I'll try to find the cite, and
will report back what I can find in the next few days.

I do, however, know from seeing the dispensing bottle
with my own eyes, that a generic form of yohimbine HCl,
a 5.4 mg tablet, is/was manufactured as a pharmaceutical
product in the U.S. about two years ago by a company
with the name Goldline.

This product was obtained by an acquaintance in Mexico
at a farmacia and imported to the U.S. I just now called
a local pharmacy and asked if they sold this product.
The pharmacist told me that she has been a pharmacist
for ten years, and that she hadn't heard of it, and that
the pharmacy did not carry it. Forgot to ask her about Muse.

Based on my own anecdotal observations and those of a few
friends, yohimbine HCl *does* enhance erections and *can*
prolong intercourse in healthy males for as long as 2-3 hours.

Unfortunately the psychic and somatic side effects associated
with the requisite dose for such (15-20 mg in a 40-yr-old, 70-kg
male) are of as much, or more, significance as the sex-enhancement
effects. These are: sensory disturbances similar to some
psychedelic drugs, sweating, chills, and changes in blood
pressure.

Cheers, David
