I worked and lived in Garland for years, my kids played ball on fields at Naaman Forest where the shootings occurred. I would never have imagined a terrorist event occurring there at that time. It is just odd to me.

You don't expect that in small towns like Garland. Of course you don't expect facilities in Garland to be hosting a draw the Prophet contest, either.
