Maybe Man created God in our image, instead of the other way around.

Now how in the world do you know what the "image of God" looks like?

I know he's white and a probably a staunch Republican and watches FOXNEWS, #1 around the world.

Didn't you ever see JC Superstar, play or movie? I think Judas was a back stabbing brother.

"There are moral obligations for EVERYONE.... Except for psychopaths.. They
have no obligations of any sort because they feel no empathy for any one. To think that people that don't believe in any gods don't have any morals or sense of justice is just absurd."

That would be absurd, which is why I never said that. Humans are created in the image of God and thereby have an innate conscience, even psychopaths. We can sear our conscience by repeatedly ignoring what it tells us but that is a choice people make. Moral obligations come from our relationship to our Creator who is Himself a moral being.

"Now how in the world do you know what the "image of God" looks like? And it's a giant leap to somehow tie a person's conscience to the existence of some mystical superstition."

It's a revealed truth. Do you think a Being, powerful enough to create and sustain our entire Universe is incapable of communicating with us? Speaking of the connection between Necessary Beings and Contingent Beings, how does your worldview account for the existence of things like Consciousness and Morality in a strictly material and contingent Universe. Christianity and Judaism give a fully consistent answers to life's basic questions.
