Saloman and Goldman are being brought in to "help" the Koreans out of the mess. Korea has 100 billion in notes due over the next 12 months.
So, Solly and Goldy will put a pack together to float a bunch of bonds. This is nothing more than a bank bailout and a make work for the securities industry, ie--transfer of wealth--taxpayer to banks, with the brokerages skimming their share once again.
I think equity markets worldwide will begin to fall.
