OT - First shares of PSA (now LUV) bought in 1969

My first stock investment was in PSA which is now LUV. Never held it that long but sold it avoiding a loss. It taught me that airlines were a loser of an investment as they pretty much always lost money. I was friends (1969) w/ the son of one of the first owners of the airline Thomas Friedkan. Wow did not realize that his son is now a billionaire (as was his father).

They had a very nice house at the time w/ an underground handball court.

It's pretty cool to see how successful they are/were and senior Friedkan made a huge difference in the airline industry.
